Injectables "Gummy Smile": Case 1 (20207)
Description
This young lady consulted Lyn Smeak, RN, one of our injectable nurse specialists to see if her smile appearance could be improved. When smiling, she noticed objectionable show of her upper gum (gingiva) above her nice teeth. It was a normal smile, but not the look she wanted. Cautious use of Botox can reduce the action of the lip elevator muscles, without otherwise altering the nice smile. A little maintenance every 3 months and she'll look great. Now she can stop being self-conscious and flash her big smile.
