Breast Asymmetry / Deformity: Case 4 (18915)

Description

This 50 year old woman had lived her life with a significant contour deformity of her chest wall, and accompanying breast asymmetry. She came to Dr. Graham requesting breast augmentation, and he discussed with her how he could also help the deformity. Her breast bone (sternum) curved inward and twisted the right ribs inward. Her diagnosis was pectus excavatum, with rotation. She was otherwise healthy, had 2 children, had a prior benign breast biopsy and was a 36 C cup. She wanted slightly fuller and more shapely, matching breasts. Two different sized saline implants were recommended. Surgery was performed in our nationally accredited surgical facility with our MD anesthesiologist. Fill was 360ml right and 125ml left. Recovery was smooth, she was off pain meds in a couple of days, resumed normal activity, and maintained natural sensation. She feels the breast enhancement hides her chest wall deformity well.
