Description

This 40 year old woman consulted Dr. Graham about treatment to reduce the size and bulk of her upper arms. She was at a stable and comfortable weight. Her upper arms had been bulky for many years. She was unable to wear many normal types of clothing. Sleeves did not fit - they were too tight. Sleeveless tops showed too much of her arms. This area of her body was out of proportion th the rest of her arms. She wanted to enjoy more typical tops and dresses. She sought Dr. Graham's help. After examination, he recommended a combination of liposuction to reduce her arm bulk or circumference and removal of excess skin. The consisted of a "brachioplasty" or arm tuck and liposuction.
