New nationwide statistics are out for 2016 from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.  Overall, surgery increased 3.5% over 2015.

Most frequent women's surgeries were:  (comprizing over 1.1 milllion women).

  • Liposuction
  • Breast Augmentation
  • Tummy Tuck
  • Breast Lift / Mastopexy
  • Eyelid Surgery / Blepharoplasty  

On the other hand men's top five were:  (totaling 144,000, about 12% of women's total).

  • Liposuction
  • Breast Reduction (gynecomstia treatment)
  • Eyelid Surgery
  • Nose Surgery
  • Facelift

Spending totaled 15 billion dollasr for the first time, including both surgical and nonsurgical procedures.
